MILES JACKSON
I was diagnosed in June 1994 when I was six-years-old, and since then I've lived the fullest life...
I played soccer throughout my youth, for 2 years on the University of Michigan Men's Varsity team, and I still play today in rec leagues.
After studying abroad in Havana, Cuba in 2010, my partner and I started Cuba Skate, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that operates youth development programs and builds cultural bridges between Cuba and the US.
I was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and recently moved to Los Angeles. It's been a wonderful transition, I've enjoyed adventures and explorations in the wilderness, frequenting the beaches, and acclimating to the west coast and really enjoying the perfect weather year round.
My partner and I have an 8-year-old English Mastiff and we love taking him on hikes.
